Ownership
Unless expressly stated otherwise, all content on this website — texts, structure, graphic design, source code, illustrations, photographs, microscopy images and video sequences — is the property of the National Institute of Biology (NIB) and of the researchers and partner institutions taking part in the NanoBreak project, and is protected by Slovenian and European intellectual property law.
Scientific images and videos
The confocal microscopy images and the live-imaging sequences published here were produced by the NanoBreak research team. They are made available for information and dissemination purposes only. Reproduction in scientific publications, teaching materials, the press or any other medium requires prior written permission and appropriate credit to the NanoBreak project and to the authors of the image.

Project identity
The NanoBreak name and logo are distinctive signs of the project and may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement, affiliation or participation without written authorisation.
Third-party marks and emblems
The emblems and logos of the Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency (ARIS), the European Union, the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions and the partner institutions appear on this site solely to acknowledge funding and collaboration, in accordance with the corresponding grant agreements. They remain the property of their respective owners and are subject to their own rules of use.
Permitted use
You may consult, download and print content from this website for personal, non-commercial, informational or academic use, provided that you do not alter it and that you cite the source as NanoBreak project — nanobreak.eu.
The following are not permitted without prior written authorisation: reproduction or distribution for commercial purposes, transformation or creation of derivative works, systematic extraction or reuse of substantial parts of the site, and any use that misrepresents the results of the project.
Scientific publications
Articles and other scientific outputs produced by the project are governed by the terms of the journal or repository in which they are published, and by the open science obligations attached to the funding. Where a publication is available in open access, the applicable licence is stated at the source.
